Supply Chain Coordinator
Reporting to the Supply Chain Manager, this position will be responsible for maintaining supply chain master data integrity. Working closely with buyers and planners, the coordinator will need to articulate G&W requirements within the supply base to achieve a positive outcome.
As a Supply Chain Coordinator, you will:
- Assist Buyers/Planners with expediting purchase orders to ensure on-time delivery
- Maintain purchase order due dates in JDE
- Follow up with vendors for confirmation dates or changes, send weekly open order reports
- Assist Buyers/Planners with follow up of past due purchase orders
- Maintain Item Branch data, routings, and sourcing requests, assist Buyers with supplier catalogue set-up
- Administrate the drawing change notice/engineering change notice process
- Plan and schedule parts jobs
- Source, place, and follow up on indirect (MRO) purchases
- Maintain and report on key administrative metrics
- Act as back-up to the Production Planning team as required
- Assist with inbound/outbound freight arrangements, tracking and tracing as required
- Maintain electronic transportation records, reporting and metrics as required
- Prepare related shipping documentation including but not limited to the commercial/pro-forma invoice, bill of lading, packing slip, NAFTA certificate, HAZMAT, other customs or government regulated documentation as required
- Maintain the supply chain team paper and electronic filing systems
- VMI program coordination and relationship management
- Other administrative duties as assigned
We are looking for someone who:
- Holds a High School diploma, GED or equivalent combination of education and work experience
- Has a minimum 1 year of experience within an administrative role, preferably within a manufacturing/supply chain environment
- Possesses excellent computer skills, including advanced skills in MS Excel, MS Word
- Has strong communication skills, both written and verbal as well as presentation skills
- Has working knowledge of ERP systems required, JDE Oracle a strong asset
- Has good problem-solving skills
- Has strong negotiation skills
- Has the ability to work in team environment as well as individual contributor with proactive mindset.
- Has the ability to work under pressure, in a fast paced environment
Physical Demands/Working Conditions:
- General Office Environment, PC use
- Light Lifting (occasional 25 lbs or less)
What we offer you:
Typical pay is $45,000.00 to $58,000.00 annually.
