Intern – Environmental, Health and Safety

Core Duties:

  • Compiling completed PPE Assessments by Magid – update plant WI/Procedures (305, 245, MBAF in that order) address urgent areas such as CLiP).
  • Ergonomics Assessments (RULA and REBA) for Ergo Concerns, targeting areas with Strain/Sprain concerns – update plant WI/Procedures (305, 245, MBAF in that order) address urgent areas such as CLiP).
  • Assists the company representatives in maintaining a solid understanding of regulatory frameworks related to G&W Electric’s sustainability strategy
  • Work with internal teams to ensure compliance and implementation of new regulations.
  • Additional qualifications: Competence in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) for data analysis, report writing, and presentation creation.

Qualifications

  • Pursuing a degree in EHS (Environmental Preferred)
  • Basic understanding of safety regulations, environmental laws, and compliance requirements (OSHA standards/EPA Regs)

Compensation and Benefits

Interns are well compensated with a competitive salary. Compensation is based on the number of years that you have completed toward your undergraduate/graduate degree or Ph.D. Housing is also available if needed.
