Intern – Sustaining Engineering

Position Summary:

Reporting to the Lead Sustaining Engineer, this position will assist the team working independently performing tests and contributing to the design process in order to contribute to many open projects.

Primary/Essential Responsibilities:

  • Participate in product investigation, improvement activities.
  • Preform root cause analysis as part of a team and investigate findings and evaluate changes.
  • Assist with larger Sustaining Projects and validation testing and documenting and reviewing results.
  • Shadow Sustianing Engineers on Shop Calls and Supply Chain Support Projects.
  • Assemble, Test, and document mechanisms and switches for validation testing

Required Qualifications:

  • Mechanical or Industrial Engineering Major
  • Hands-on Lab Experience
  • CAD Experience

Compensation and Benefits

Interns are well compensated with a competitive salary. Compensation is based on the number of years that you have completed toward your undergraduate/graduate degree or Ph.D. Housing is also available if needed.
